Приспособления, предназначенные для контроля за «вредными привычками», ассоциировавшимися в определенный исторический период с патологическими формами сексуальности, рассматриваются в качестве иллюстрации дискурсов, подчеркивавших медицинское и моральное измерение практик телесной дисциплины. Подобно тому, как в ортопедии не было четкого разделения между телесными несовершенствами эстетического и медицинского свойства, линия, разделяющая приемлемые, осуждаемые и патологические телесные практики в области аутоэротики, оказывается подвижна настолько, что устройства, однажды предложенные как антимастурбационные, оказываются в ассортименте сегодняшнего секс-шопа.Скачивания
