HEALTH AS A BASIC VALUE IN THE MINDS AND DOMESTIC LIFE OF THE RUSSIAN POPULATION

Abstract

This article contains the main results of a sample survey of the Russian population, conducted under the supervision of the author in JuneJuly 2008 in 24 regions of the Russian Federation on the base of All-Russian representative sample. The data given in the article reflect the views of respondents about their health, their attitude to health as a value, assessment of the quality of health services, reproductive orientation, the scope of physical training, sport and tourism, the prevalence of bad habits - smoking, alcohol and drugs taking, etc.
