Abstract

The article explores the drawing closer between the issues of language policy and security of society in Russia. The role of the language policy in terms of protecting people's consciousness is determined by the fact that there is no other specialized organizational or technological reality that could compare with media in terms of its capacity and create source mechanisms of self-awareness and information culture immunity within social consciousness.
