THE ROLE THAT POLITICAL POWER PLAYS IN SAFEGUARDING SOCIAL PROTECTION OF ITS CITIZENS

Abstract

The author has supplied his own interpretation of the institute of social protection in a debate with other opinions to this effect. A substantially stronger socio-protective function emerges when a social state is ascertained. But for the time being, our state quite poorly reforms this function. So, we are in need of a much stronger official and public control over the state's activities as well as activities by the bodies of local self-administration.
