RELIGIOUS CONSCIOUSNESS OF THE RUSSIAN PEOPLE IN THEIR COUNTRY'S HISTORY

Abstract

Russian people's religious consciousness at various stages in the life of society as well as in the life of the church and the state is endowed with different features and, respectively, it performs different functions. The content of the Russian people's religious consciousness was on many occasions exposed to external influence but still preserved its particular features - humanism and polyphony.
