EVOLUTION OF POLITICAL ADMINISTRATIVE ELITES IN POST-SOVIET RUSSIA: A CROSS-REGIONAL ANALYSIS

Abstract

The article supplies an analysis, based on the select quantitative transformations within the elite's structure, of the trend toward replacing the «post-Soviet» elite with the new «RF» elite that has no connection with the Soviet political system. In the author's opinion, this sure to affect the ideology and the character of power relations, the shaping of Russia's future policy and the administrative style of state governance.
