INTERACTION BETWEEN THE BODIES OF STATE POWER AT THE REGIONAL AND FEDERAL LEVELS SEEN AS A POLITICAL PROBLEM

Abstract

The article raises the problem of harmonizing the interests between the federal center and the component subjects of the Russian Federation and qualifies it as a major priority in Russia's domestic policy. While recognizing the fact that certain progress was made in the past 15 years along the line of harmonizing the interests of the Russian Federation with the interests of its component subjects, the author sees a number of problems that in no way facilitate the strengthening of domestic political stability within the country.
