PROBLEM OF THE NATIONAL IDENTITY IN TRANSFORMING EUROPE

The article covers some interrelated processes progressed in modern Europe. These are a devaluation of Westphalian Sovereign, the European Union consolidation, making supranational government and as a result minimizing the role of the national states.
