Abstract

The article analyzes meanings of mega-tendencies and trends of global development with due regard for geopolitical interests of the Russian Federation. The capacity and role of Russia as a global player are covered. Projections of mega-tendencies for 2000 and 2020 are comparatives. The projection of mega-tendencies for 2040 is offered.
