"SOCIETY OF KNOWLEDGE" AS A HEURISTIC CONCEPT OF POST-INDUSTRIAL SOCIETY DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

Changes taking part in present times in society, economy and production are analyzed as a period of radical transformation of society structure. A concept "society of knowledge" developed by American scientist P. Dracker is analyzed, it shows a perspective character of future society development. A possibility of "society of knowledge" development in Russia is discussed. The main problems of hampering the progress of its development are defined.
