Abstract

The article shows some sociological research data of electoral consciousness and behavior. The research is made by Sociological Center of the Russian Academy of Public Administration the days before presidential and parliamentary elections took place in 1991-2007. Scientific and practical urgency of sociological archives analysis is defined by coming parliamentary elections in 2011. The main attention is pointed on the basic characteristics preelection situation all thought on its features which are determined by changes of authority's and constituency's attitude to institution of elections.
