The article considers the problems on the evolution of Russian democracy basing on the analysis of the post-election situation (winter-summer 2012). The tough manifestations of the political opposition and the attempts of the authorities to introduce new institutional changes in parliamentary democracy (“political system democratization”) are being evaluated rather ambiguously by the society
