Political Values in the Structure of Mass Political Consciousness of Modern Russian Society

Abstract

Theoretic questions of analysis of values transformation in mass political consciousness of modern Russian society as a significant factor of transitive transformations in its political system are studied in the article. On the basis of compilation of the present experience in political values typologization the technique for analyzing value paradigms of mass political consciousness of post-Soviet society is offered. This technique helps to identify their subject matter, functional area and purpose, ontological connection with types of civilizations and historic epochs and to measure public approval ratings and political significance of separate item of this system.
