The article discloses the content of the notion «functional alert», selects and explores criteria of functional alertness of the UN international police force personnel: professional, psycho-physical, communicative, socio-psychological, informational, cognitive perceptive, valued-oriented, motivational, administrative. On the basis of sociological survey data the author reveals the real state of functional alertness of the peace-making personnel and lays down the ways of its improvement.Published
