The article deals with factors that affect the choice of the future profession and presents different types of professional identity of contemporary medical students and post-graduates in terms of their future profession in the contemporary society The data obtained in the sociological poll and cited in the article reflects the opinion of respondents regarding the identity of medical workers in their profession.
