CORRELATION BETWEEN THE NOTIONS OF A SOCIAL ROLE AND A SOCIAL ACTION

Abstract

The work deals with the study of the correlation phenomenon between a social action and a social role. The author has shown that a social action will either be an action performed in keeping with the assigned social role or an action that deliberately disrupts the established order. Actions that have not been correlated with the role expectations of other members of society are not connected with their expected reaction and, therefore, are not social actions.
