THE HISTORY OF ETHNIC AND CONFESSION AREA FORMING IN THE INTERFLUVE OF OKA AND KLIAZMA

Abstract

The article covers a problem of forming a unique ethno-confessional region in the central part of Russia. It is an interfluve of Oka and Kliazma. There are special cross-cultural and cross-ethnic relations between Russians Orthodox, Kasim's Tatars Muslims and Russian Dissidents which orientated on mutual understanding and interpenetration.
