Abstract

The article deals with the analysis of activity of Professor I.S. Galkin in 1941-1947 as a vice rector and rector of MSU. The main attention pointed on methods of saving the University under the crisis of management in 1942. Methods of reforming Moscow University during the Great Patriotic War and first years after the War are researched.
