Abstract

The article describes features of the cultural institutions in the new environment and analyzes the various forms of their interaction with local authorities. Referring to the management of cultural processes, the author reveals the concept of culture, national and specialized culture. The author emphasizes the special role in contemporary socio-cultural sphere of cultural institutions, tracing the changes in legislationon impact on their activity.
