The role of school education in formation of multicultural society in the world and in Russia

The article explores the problem of multicultural society, co-existence of different ethnocultural communities within the territory of one country. The problem can be solved by means of the policy of multiculturalism. The author adheres the idea that this policy should rely on a new school education, which have to cultivate the principles of tolerance
