Redefining the State: Seeing like a State Research

Abstract

The article is about the research of «onthology of the state» and «state seeing». Analyzing the corp of theorectical constructions of J. Scott, the author indicates to conceptual mistakes of thinking scheme, and — taking resources of ethnomethodology and actor-network analysis — makes an attempt to rethink and redescribe «the state» in categories of contemporary sociological theory, returning the problrm of «the state optics» to sociological problematic field.
