How is a sociological criticism of science possible?

Abstract

In this article the problem of social-science criticism of natural sciences is considered. It is argued that, on the one hand, natural sciences are nonviable without their humanitarian precepts (philosophical grounds), but, on the other hand, philosophical critique of science, in its turn, depends on the dynamics of natural sciences. From this perspective pros and cons of science are analyzed and systematized.
