Is authoritarism of technics the nature''s revenge? Three cases of technology development in the USSR

Abstract

The article dwells on the relation between power and technology. The author uses theoretical resources of actor-network theory and Marxism. These traditions often point out that there is an unbreakable connection between technics and power, stabilization of technologies and domination. The Author shows ambiguity of such connection referring to cases of technology development in the USSR.
